Day Thirty, End Count

And that’s all folks! Another NaNo down. This year I also managed to complete a personal NaNo goal, and ended with a calendar widget of all green squares (screenshotted for posterity).

The power adapter for my laptop died last night (as far as I can tell), so I won’t be able to find out how many of these words I’m dropping off the bat. I already know some of the scenes are switching view points, and I’m dropping the hobby of one of the characters, so I wanted to pull the related sections as soon as my final word count was in. Unfortunately, those will have to wait with everything else until after this draft has rested for a month.

Day Twenty-eight, End Count

Day Twenty-seven, End Count

Day Twenty-six, End Count

Day Twenty-five, End Count

Validation came online today, so I get my nice little badge ^_^

I hadn’t finished the story when I hit 50,000. I’ve set a tentative limit of 60,000 for completing it, but I’m not sure it will take that much. I’d like to continue hitting the word count until the end of the month, though. One of my NaNoWriMo goals is to have green squares for every day on the month widget. We’ll see what I can come up with!

Day Twenty-four, End Count

And I made it! Whoot!
