Zombies 5K: Week 2-1, 2-2, & 2-3

I think I’m going to shift to posting a weekly summary, just because 😛

I did my three runs this week, though I forgot my headphones on Friday, which meant shifting my run to today. I walked the track for half an hour, though, so it wasn’t a wasted trip.

Given I have now forgotten (on different days): my water bottle, headphones, and running socks, I think I need to create a small pack. I’d be able to just do a bag, but I go after work, and that means fitting it all into my backpack with everything else I need. Still, would probably be a good idea. I think I’m going to pick up a spare set of headphones, though, because not having those, sucks.

The heel lifts were okay. Not really hard, but something different, I guess. The tricky part is getting off the track and to somewhere that I can do them while being out of the way.

I’m not doing as well with my plan for the off days (a variety of recovery-type workouts), so I think I’m going to drop that plan and re-adjust.

Anyway, by going today, I found out, it is apparently not that busy on Saturdays in the early afternoon. That is very good to know.
