After some testing, support recommended an upgrade for my database. The site seems to have settled well into it’s new home, and hopefully the issues are gone now.

As I’ve been playing with pages and things, I’ll know soon enough.

*knocks on wood*

But it goes slow.

I’ve been adding the widgets back to the sidebar one at a time, waiting to see which of them is causing the problem. There is only one left, so by tomorrow we should at least be able to answer the cause of the problem.

Assuming, of course, our theory holds true. That isn’t always the case when it comes to these things. There could be something else required to kick off the problem, and we wouldn’t have noticed it. Hopefully that is not the case here, as I’d like to be able to leave things as they are.

Here’s hoping.
